Rhode Island?

These days i can appreciate slow city. I don’t need my cities screaming at me. I like it quiet too. It’s been a while since I’ve been on the Amtrak USA. I’ve missed it. Also, it’s been a while since I’ve been in New England. Definitely not since Old England.

Tickets were cheap. $50 round trip. People ask me all the time “why would you go there?”. I never really need a reason to go to most places. It’s the smallest state, i think you can drive through it in 45 minutes.

Even with the long train ride it was a work day trip not even a full day trip. I got there at 11am and left at 7pm. Time is simply just a construct. #NEW30

Providence really makes me redefine what i had thought of New England. Im trying to analyze the pipeline from London to Connecticut & RI. It’s real. Even more than Mass. I heard more Scottish and Irish accents than American ones. I saw more people In the mall than in the rest of the city.

I saw the most beautiful lakefront homes, an empty building with $800 dollar rent signs downtown. I left 3 of LOOP up there for good measure. It’s so pretty up north.
